Werner Sabo started his career as an architect in Chicago. After working for several architectural firms and getting his license, he went to law school and became a full-time construction attorney.

 

As a litigator as well as a transactional attorney, he began resolving cases as an arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association more than thirty years ago.  He is also the author of Legal Guide to AIA Documents, now in its 6th edition, and considered by many to be the definitive guide to the leading construction contracts.
